Folia Medica is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary medical journal, co-published bimonthly by the Medical University of Plovdiv and Pensoft Publishers. It is published exclusively in an electronic version, issued in English. Folia Medica received manuscripts are accepted for publication only after a double-blind peer-review process by independent experts in the respective fields.
The journal accepts manuscripts in the following fields: medicine, dental medicine, pharmaceutical science and public health.
